The remarkable potential of juvenile brains, when directed and nurtured, can culminate astonishing inventions. This is vividly demonstrated by the 15-year-old Bhavansh Mahajan, who successfully created a basic drone.Ā Ā
Bhavansh, a resident of Ramneek Avenue, Jalandhar and a student Class X of Sanskriti KMV School marked an impressive stride in technology by creating this device. He is now working on its upgradation to make it a special tool for combating fires.
When asked what motivated him for this drone project, Bhavansh explained, āI wanted to make something that would improve the safety and contribute to our nation.ā I combined my interest in flying objects with my goal of making a significant change in peopleās lives.āĀ
Bhavansh says his father, Niwajish Mahajan, is his inspiration. In 2012, Niwajish created the āCrosslock,ā a ground-breaking solution that improved the strength and durability of buildings. āMy fatherās support and innovative vision inspired me to combine my passion for technology that would leave an impactful mark.Ā Ā
Bhavanshās drone incorporates cutting-edge technology, including GPS and navigation systems for precise placement and communication systems for data transmission. With the help of his father, he assembled various available parts that were outsource. He regularly watched YouTube tutorials for direction.Ā Ā
He disclosed that he spent Rs 20,000 on the components required to construct his drone. This is far more reasonable than commercial drones, which are expensive depending on their technology and level of sophistication.Ā Ā
Bhavanshās innovationĀ serves as a testament of how young passion and inquisitiveness can yield remarkable technological breakthroughs and provide answers to critical challenges.Ā Ā
